SGSCR activities in the work safety & health protection field

In this field we aim for applying the Work Safety Policy. As in the case of environment also here our efforts are based on central Charter EHS. The project "Target Zero" leads us to accept such preventive methods that save health of our workers. Due to the subject of our business - glass processing and manipulation - the main risk is very high occurence possibility of injury caused by a contact with sharp glass edges. To decrease these risks we strive to eliminate this contact either by installation of programmable manipulators or by using of protective work means. These means are produced from high-resistant materials.

Also from a statistical point of view it is clear that we go by the right way. In 2005 we registered just two industrial injuries with a disablement longer than 3 days. It is very vital to keep all the approved rules and instruction of safety work. Only by this way we can avoid work injury occurences.
